Rebuilding
I guess it's time to rebuild again in Colorado. Thanks for the prospects, Oakland, enjoy having a solid hitter bolstering the middle of your lineup.

I'm glad I wore my Rockies' Holliday t-shirt one last time on Sunday while it was still relevant.
I see on the rumor mill that Atkins is next out the door.
Also, I see that the A's are likely to flip Holliday.
There's no way the A's open their pocketbook if the Rockies won't. They'll either trade him next season to a contender for more prospects while Holliday is still under contract, or they'll get compensatory draft picks when he signs in the offseaspon with another team.
