Doob- facts is facts. Since the 1999 season over the last 10 years the following is true: 1) Notre Dame is 70-52 for a .570 winning percentage and is 1-5 in bowls 2) A&M is 65-56 for a .540 winning percentage and is 1-5 in bowls
That's pretty damn close and pretty damn pathetic.
throw in revenue generation, how's your TV deal sitting? How many BCS bowls have you gone to? Facts are facts Starr - TAMU is a regional fan base and $krilla ultimately rules the day. You pull in the money, your program's still there.
Well allow me to retort: 1) on revenue- per a CNN report from October 2007, Notre Dame's revenue is ranked #8 in the country. #9 is Texas A&M. And both of us are $30MM/year behind #1, Florida.
2) BCS bowls? Notre Dame is 0-2 and A&M is 0-1.
3) National fanbase? Sorry dude, but the days of Notre Dame as the school every Catholic kid in the US cheered for are over. Notre Dame right now is like Alabama between Bear Bryant and Nick Saban, living on the past. Don't get me wrong, A&M does the same thing but to say A&M is a regional fanbase is flat wrong. Due to the last 10 years or so we've fallen off as a "name" school but if you can remember the college football world prior to you needing to shave you'd know different.

The Haka is awesome. I wonder how many of the team are actally Maori. Even Australia, the Kiwis' archrival and a world power, look a bit intimidated.
And I guess not much happens in the world of sports when Notre Dame isn't playing football or mulling a coaching change.
Note to self: Don't watch The Haka prior to wanting to go bed. The Haka makes me want to kill someone.
I wasn't aware Notre Dame played football.
I think both they and Texas A&M shelved their programs sometime in the late-90's.
Whoa! Don't lump ND in with Texas A&M. We might have had some up and down years recently (more down than up), but let's keep it clean.
SA doesn't look too happy there either.

I believe you have an ND shirt...I do not have a TAMU shirt - thus, I win.
oh, snap!
The Doob used "$krilla" - it's like he's living in Harlem
